About Us

When we decided to start a business we thought of our grandchildren Haley and Mackalen. When they were barely big enough to walk they would come with a book and say "Nana read to me". Just for fun I would change the name in the story to theirs. Everyone reading to them when they were little made them acquired a love for reading and by first grade they had became independent readers.

Now we have the addition of Aurora and Rachel to our grandchildren and they both have a love for books and love to read.

We were excited when we found Create-A-Book because that is what their books do. They take the child's name, friends names, hometown and other information and weave them throughout the story. You will find your child wants to read the book over and over. What better practice for reading then this.

Since Haley was our inspiration, we asked her about a name for our company. She call and told us it should be "The Book Nook at Nana's". We loved the name she pick so we used that name for our business.

To this Nana there truly is "Nothing like a comfortable chair, a Good Book and a Child"

Our 4 grandchild are our pride and joy and we would like you to meet them.
